Curtail the rambler
This title is part of the Skills for Me
Duration: 8 minutes
Synopsis

Curtail the Rambler is a course designed to provide skills to respectfully deal with a coworker, customer or supplier who takes too long to get to the point. In this course you will learn ways to deal with long-winded talkers. It can be difficult to tell people that they talk too much, and even more difficult if it is a manager or an important customer. In this course, psychologists Eve Ash and Peter Quarry explain what happens when we feel trapped in a conversation by a long-winded person, and how we can politely and respectfully use techniques to manage the rambler.
